Artisyn synthetic paper is a type of paper that is specifically intended for creating high quality and professional looking ID cards.
Artisyn is different from the regular printer paper you might be used to due to its synthetic nature. This material is much more water resistant than regular paper and that means that it can be exposed to rain and other rough weather conditions without deteriorating. Likewise, it means that it won’t pick up grease from hands and otherwise start to run and deteriorate over time.
This is important when you consider that your logo is going to be on the card. You don’t want the ID cards you handed out to look battered and low quality as this will otherwise reflect badly on your business!
What’s more, Artisyn paper also guarantees an attractive finish for your ID cards. The surface of this paper is somewhat glossy and this means that the ink will dry much faster on contact. That’s important because it means the ink doesn’t run into the paper and ‘bleed’ out the edges. This results in an image that looks less blurry and much more crisp and high definition. What’s more, Artisyn paper is very white and crisp and this ensures that it will provide excellent contrast with the ink, ensuring a look that is very attractive and highly readable.
More Benefits of Artisyn from ArcadiaID
Those aren’t all the benefits of Artisyn though. At the same time, you’ll also get a paper that is able to work with both Laser and Inkjet printers, as well as with printers designed specifically for creating ID cards (such as Fargo printers).
Artisyn paper also comes with ‘punch outs’. These are shapes that you can easily remove from the sheets and which are the perfect size for use as ID cards. A sheet of paper that says ‘4-UP’ is essentially a sheet with four removable ID cards.
And when you buy from us you also get the best prices, huge bulk discounts and very rapid delivery. It’s the best choice for your ID cards!
How to Use Artisyn Paper
Once you’ve got your Artisyn paper, what do you do with it? The first thing you will need is a great design for your ID cards, which you can get from us at IDCreator.com, or which you can make yourself with the Badge Maker. You can alternatively do this using PhotoShop or Illustrator.
Once you’ve printed your paper, the next step is to laminate it. You can do this by ordering butterfly pouches that are the right size and then using a laminator. This covers the cards in a transparent plastic that adds even more water resistance and makes the cards feel even more high quality.
You can also punch holes in your Artisyn paper and laminating pouches and then feed clips through them to attach to lanyards. Or if you prefer, you can use them with card holders. We also sell a range of other accessories and features including holographic overlays.
