12-15-09: Introducing EasyIDea ID Card Laminators!
We are proud to carry the EasyIDea minilam 450 4.5" and MIGHTYlam 900 9" ID card pouch laminators. The EasyIDea laminators are the first laminators to be specifically engineered and designed for the purpose of efficient ID card making. Unlike most pouch laminators on the market, the EasyIDea line is specifically rated to handle the substantial thickness of ID cards. Most pouch laminators are only rated to laminate 3-5 mil pouches used in the common laminating of photos or documents. These laminators may jam under the thickness of 10 mil pouches and also may not be able to heat the pouch to the necessary temperature for lamination fusion. Because EasyIDea Laminators are specially designed for ID making, the rollers are spaced to accommodate up to 33 mils of thickness, giving ample space to safely accommodate 10 mil pouches. The internal heat setting is also set higher, to the optimal temperature for butterfly pouch lamination. The both 450 and 900 models come with the option adding a temperature control. This temperature control lowers the laminating heat to a temperature suitable for 3-5 mil pouches, making the laminator usable for all laminating purposes. EasyIDea laminators also use higher quality rollers/parts than most laminators and are designed to laminate without the need of paper carriers. We've revamped the website. It's a whole lot easier to navigate, and includes brand new features such as video tutorials, better account and order management, and even some new products. With the launch of this new website we will also be releasing never-before-seen products to the store.
