Description of UVerify Blacklights
These handheld blacklights feature an ultraviolet fluorescing neon blacklight tube. This tube will display the UV ink on our holograms, as well as security marks on state ID cards and driver's licenses, bank notes, stamps, and other security documents. It also has a high powered white LED torch light. The blacklight includes a wrist-loop and propping stand.
Description of Official Seal Design
The design has 8 patterned "seals". Each of these seals has the words "Seal of Authenticity" at the top of them, and the word "OFFICIAL" at the bottom. The large emblem that makes up the seal is a classic fleur-de-lis. The fleur-de-lis is an historic emblem which represents power and authority.
Description of Shield and Key Design
This is a multispectrum hologram with large shields and small keys visible at different angles. Each of these seals has the words "Seal of Authenticity" at the top of them, and the word "Genuine" at the bottom. Within the emblem is a five point star as well as the words "Secure" and "Valid".
Ultra-Violet Black Light Ink
This hologram overlay includes the shape of an eagle centered on the card invisible to the naked eye. This eagle is only visible under an ultra-violet black light. When viewed underneath the black light the eagle glows bright yellow. This method ensures a high-level of security as this security device can hardly be seen with the naked eye. Any security personnel can check for the black light ink and verify authenticity. Since this security-device is hidden, it often is overlooked by would-be document forgers providing you with an added layer of authentication. In heightened security environments we highly-recommend including this feature for your ID cards and security documents.
Holography
Full-spectrum: The hologram appears in a full-spectrum format which varies the full color-spectrum as the light hits and reflects on the overlay. It ensures that all seven colors are prominently displayed, including Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. This technique is superior to a standard bi-defraction technique because these are only able to reflect back two colors of the spectrum (typically blue and red, or green and yellow).
Variable spectrographic regions: Within each seal are a set of variable spectrographic regions which change shape as the light reflects over them. In these regions it appears as if waves are dancing and interacting with one-another.
Additional Features
Self-destructing: The holograms use a tamper-evident underlay which self-destructs if the hologram is removed or if an attempt is made to alter the content underneath the hologram.
Thinner is Better: This hologram is only 2 mil (0.002") thick, compared to the 5 mil (0.005") thick Shield and Key hologram. This means it goes on smoother and is much less noticeable.
