Teslin® Microperforated 8-up for InkJet printers
Teslin WPIJ grade is a specially-treated sheet that allows it to be WaterProof and work extremely well in InkJet printers. Teslin is the world's most widely used synthetic ID card printing sheet. As the original innovator of the synthetic printing sheet, PPG Industries' Teslin is the well known leader in the industry. While Artisyn® achieves the highest printing quality, durability, versatility, Teslin Paper is a good option for an economical alternative with a proven track record. Teslin is included standard in all of our Complete ID Card Kits. After printing on Teslin with an inkjet printer, one can laminate it using a seamless butterfly pouch to produce secure ID cards that are nearly identical to PVC cards found in your wallet.
These sheets have been micro-perforated to work with our easy 8-up ID card punchout template. Each insert tears out cleanly, eliminating the need for scissors, and reducing the time it takes to make ID.cards from minutes to seconds! ID inserts measure "2.125 x 3.375" and fit all of our butterfly pouches perfectly.
Using 8-up sheets are the fastest way to create many ID cards at once. We recommend 1-up sheets for issuing one or two ID cards at a time to avoid paper waste because because of the difficulty of reusing the 8-up sheet after removing an insert.

Teslin IJ WP substrate is a dimensionally stable, coated, highly filled, microporous, polyolefin-based film that bonds readily and firmly with inks, toners, adhesives and laminating films. It features the same unique characteristics of Teslin laser substrate – printable, durable, water-resistant, secure and adaptable – with an added emphasis on versatility for inkjet printing.
Teslin IJ WP substrate is coated on boths sides with an ink jet-receptive coating that combines high ink jet image quality with the compatibility of our butterfly laminating pouches. Lamination peel strengths of 6-8 lbs are typical.
Teslin WP IJ substrate is perfect for a wide range of applications including: identification cards, licenses, travel documents, tags, labels, manuals, price sheets, pocket maps, handheld charts and other card-sized applications.
